LAKES & LANCS SPOCO SERIES 2008

Lakes and Lancs SpoCo aims to encourage the use of "Sporting" courses for cycle Time Trials as an alternative to the use of traffic-laden dual-carriageway courses. It does this by means of collating and publishing league tables for selected events, mainly in Cumbria and Lancashire, but also including neighbouring areas.

The events selected are existing events held under CTT rules by existing clubs. They are selected on the basis of the nature of the course used, and are currently restricted to the months of February to July. The league is funded by a modest affiliation fee from clubs whose members wish to be included in the competition, and donations from promoting clubs. A prize presentation and free buffet is provided for participants at the final event of the season, usually in early July.

League tables are produced after each event and they will be posted on the website asap. Results will also be posted when available.
