| The Circuit used is one lap of the Bolton-by-Bowland road race circuit. It is all on small country roads. It starts up hill gradually for about 2 miles with the steepest section at the bottom of about 1 in 10-12. There is a gentle descent and then a left turn onto a sticky back road, undulating past what is commonly known to our local riders as the 'aerial' (a radio mast). Another left turn and then a gentle rolling fast section of about 3 miles which gently descends to Forest Becks a dangerous steep dip down to a bridge and around a corner, up the other side and then not far to the finish, there is a left handed junction just before the finish on a downhill with gravel on the corner. The latter half of the course is part of the return leg of the old Clitheroe to Settle TT. (Review by Ian Stott). Winner in 2006 was Gethin Butler 24.09 | ||||||
