Wallis Cycles builds Audax and Cross bikes to meet every need, from a starting bike up to a special spec machine with Record Groupset and all the trimings. We can obtain frames in either Alloy or Steel, with Cantilever Brakes or Caliper, and clearance for different tyre sizes. Winter and Audax Bikes

We can build you a winter or Audax cycle to your speciafications with components chosen from all the top suppliers. We can design the cycle from the frame up with most tastes catered for. The above cycle is built on our special 45cm Alloy Frame, finished in Metallic Copper into Silver with Shimano Ultegra Groupset, Stronglight Impact Triple C/Set and Mavic CXP33 Rims, SKS Guards, ITM Carbon Forks, ITM Bars/Stem/Seatpin.

The above cycle was built for a member of the local armed forces who completed a successful End-to-End on it. The cycle was built to a tight budget of £450 and was built on our Winter Frame Kit 2 (Alloy Frame and Carbon Forks) and Sora Groupset with DRC Rims and Schwalbe Blizzard Kevlar Tyres, this was all done for £459.99.

Cyclo Cross Bikes

We can also build you a cyclo-cross cycle for fun or race use. We have access to most of the major component manufacturers and we can match a cycle to your spec within your budget. The cycle above is an example, it has Mirage gearset with a Stronglight Impac 38/48 C/Set, Conti Twister Tyres on DRC Rims, ITM Bar and Stem, Cane Creek A-Headset with an Alloy frame for approx £559. We are also able to provide as a frameset for approx £189.99.

This is a Cyclo-cross cycle made specially for kids! We use a very small alloy frame, approx 43cm, and 700c wheels to build a cross bike that will suit kids age 8yrs upwards. It will grow with them by changing the stem and saddle position. Prices start at £300.

This cycle is a heavy duty Cross/Touring cycle, with carbon forks to cut weight and improve comfort, and the fitting of cantilevers for increased stoppping power. This bike can be made to any specification or price you require starting from £450 upwards, give us a call for more.

Touring Bikes

This is an example of a Tour Cycle we built recently, the frame has clearance for upto 700x42c Tyres, All the braze on fittings for 2x bottles, and 4 point rack, with a more upright frontend to save having a lot of spacers or an upturned stem. This cycle has an alloy frame, Carbon Forks with a Campagnolo Mirage Groupset, with a Stronglight Impact Triple 28/38/48 Chainset, and Alloy Cantilever brakes. The wheels are DRC Rims with Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Tyres. It is fitted with a 4 point Rack and SKS Mudguards. Approx cost would be £700.
