We aren't sure what Cycling Weekly are used to riding when they say this is too stiff. It's definitely super-responsive and wastes none of your energy when climbing or sprinting out of the saddle. But Martin put the stiffest pair of wheels he has on it and found it fine on a normal club run on pot-holed roads.
