The government's Cycle to Work scheme lets employers give employees a tax-free benefit of the use of a bike to encourage employees to cycle to work, giving the benefits of a healthier workforce, reduced pollution, congestion and pressure on parking spaces.

What the cycle scheme means for you is that you can get a bike (and accessories such as a helmet and lock), get interest-free credit for a year and usually save at least 32% (42% for higher-rate taxpayers) on the cost. Depending on how your employer operates the scheme you can sometimes save even more. You can get an estimate of your own savings (and if you know your employer's Cyclescheme code then you can work out your payments exactly) here.

All the administration is handled by Cyclescheme to make it as simple as possible for you and your employer and full details of how the scheme works can be found on their web-site.

This makes for a stiff but comfortable ride, and the 60 has been adjusted to take mudguards for the British weaather! Shimano 20spd 105 shifting, and compact chainset.
