About Us

Wallis Cycles was established in 1993, in Hennel Lane, by Martin Wallis. His aim was to provide the surrounding area with a shop to provide for family and commuting cycling needs.
The shop serves the area of Higher Walton, Walton le Dale, Preston, Bamber Bridge, Penwortham, Chorley, Leyland and Lostock Hall. The shop has grown year on year, taking on some more stock, and more specialist products as we have grown. In 2003 we sponsored the Recycling.co.uk Pro-Team, providing them with bikes and equipment. In 2005 we took on the Scott Dealership, and are now a Pro Shop, with access to all the range. The shop moved from Hennel Lane to its current location in Higher Walton in 2005, and now cater for both family/commuting needs, and more specialist road and mountain bike needs. In 2008 we started a Race Team, teamwallis-CHH.com, which has the aim of helping the next generation of British Talent get a foot on the ladder. The team is already making waves and is currently riding high in the British Cycling Regional North West Rankings.
